Managed IT

Managed IT that keeps you in control

Make support, cloud, security, licences and ownership understandable — with written responsibilities and a maintained operational record.

When every ticket starts from zero, the service is not truly managed.

Slow responses, temporary fixes and fragmented knowledge drain time from your team. Opaque projects and forgotten renewals create financial surprises. A managed service should make the environment easier to operate and easier for you to understand.

Managed IT

A visible operating model

The controls below are design commitments. The exact technical and commercial scope is confirmed in the written proposal.

01

Transparent service schedule

Included support and management are separated from projects, migrations, hardware, licences and third-party costs.

02

Service performance

First-response targets, escalation ownership, update cadence and recurring-problem reviews are agreed in writing.

03

Living IT record

Assets, configurations, vendors, changes, decisions and recovery procedures are maintained as operational knowledge.

04

Financial control

Licence ownership, renewal dates, alerts and approvals are tracked to reduce avoidable commitments.

05

Permanent improvement

Recurring incidents are reviewed for root cause and durable correction, not only ticket closure.

06

Customer-owned access

Administrative access and exportable documentation support continuity and reduce lock-in.

A clear next step

A staged transition you can follow

Each stage has an owner, an output and an approval point so that progress remains understandable.

Week 1

Access, urgent risks and support go-live

Confirm decision-makers, secure administrative access, establish support channels and address immediate operational risk.

Weeks 2–3

Backup, security and licence verification

Verify recovery readiness, core security configuration, renewal exposure and ownership of critical services.

Weeks 4–6

Documentation, standardisation and roadmap

Build the living IT record, prioritise recurring issues and agree improvements, responsibilities and reporting.

Illustrative deliverable — not a client result

What a monthly review should make visible

  • Activity and performance against agreed targets
  • Recurring incidents, root causes and permanent fixes
  • Licence changes and upcoming renewal decisions
  • Completed improvements, open risks and next priorities

Questions Swiss organisations ask before changing IT or introducing AI

Clear answers help you compare providers, question assumptions and make a more informed decision.

What is included in managed IT?

The exact scope is agreed before service starts. A proposal separates recurring support and management from projects, migrations, hardware, licences and third-party fees. Response targets, escalation ownership and the reporting format are written into the service schedule.

Can you take over from another IT provider?

Yes. The transition is staged: secure access and urgent risks first, then backup, security and licence verification, followed by documentation, standardisation and a roadmap. Administrative access, records and ownership remain visible to the customer.

Will we be locked in?

The operating model is designed around customer control: customer-owned accounts where practical, a maintained IT record, documented decisions and exportable service information. Exit responsibilities and separately billable transition work are made explicit in the agreement.

Start with the problem, not a technology purchase.
